Aaron Bastani

Aaron Bastani (born February 25, 1984, in Bournemouth, England) is a British political commentator, journalist, and co-founder of the left-wing media outlet Novara Media, known as the author of the concept Fully Automated Luxury Communism (FALC), which proposes that technological progress and automation could create a post-scarcity society with equal access to resources. He advocates for an active role of the state in the economy, resource redistribution, and criticizes neoliberal capitalism and mainstream media. His book Fully Automated Luxury Communism: A Manifesto (2019) popularizes ideas of a new socialism focused on technology and social abundance.
